SMS Consent & Message Flow

FUBAR Car is operated by Shark Auto Sales LLC. This page describes exactly how a listed buyer opts in to receive text messages from us, what those messages are, and how to stop them. Messages are sent from +1 (321) 382-2786. We only text businesses that purchased a listing and checked the optional consent box below. We never text sellers or general site visitors, and we never send marketing or promotional texts.

Call to action / how consent is collected

The only opt-in path is a web form on our public website. There is no keyword opt-in, no paper form, no point-of-sale opt-in, and no purchased or third-party list.

A scrap-car buying business visits the public signup page at fubarcar.com/buyer-signup.
On that single form they select their state, county, and listing tier, and enter their business name, contact name, business phone, email, and a password.
On that same form, before any payment is collected, they see an unchecked, optional SMS consent checkbox with the exact language shown below, plus a mobile-number field. Consent is not required to submit the form, not required to purchase, and not required to use the account.
Only if the box is checked do we store the consent text, the timestamp, and the phone number, and only then does that number ever receive a message.

Message flow

Opt-in (web form checkbox) → consent text and timestamp stored with the account → the buyer receives account, billing, and customer-care notifications about their own listing → the buyer replies STOP at any time and messages stop immediately.
